Pets are great companions and can be exceptionally fun and rewarding. Pets also require a fair amount of time, energy and love in order to remain healthy.

At Highland Road Animal Hospital we will tailor your pet’s health care regimen to meet his or her lifestyle needs. You’ve heard the saying, "When you’ve got your health - you’ve got everything" - At Highland Road Animal Hospital, we feel the same way about the health of your pet. It is important that you know what potential problematic signs to look for in your pet. If you notice any of the following behaviors, please call our office to schedule an appointment. We like to diagnose and treat problems early before they have a chance to become more serious.

Bring your pet to us if you notice:

  • Loss of appetite
  • Drinking excessive fluids
  • Gaining or losing weight rapidly
  • Strange behavior
  • Strange lumps
  • Excessive sluggishness or tiredness
  • Trouble getting up or down
